The Irish College of General Practitioners

Professional body for general practice in Ireland, the Irish College of General Practitioners, aims to serve patients and general practitioners by encouraging and maintaining the highest standards education, training and standards in general practice.

This includes providing guidance to general practitioners (GPs) about how they can best help their transgender and gender diverse patients. As a major provider of gender affirming healthcare, GenderGP are actively advocating, alongside other organisations, for the Irish College of General Practitioners to issue guidance that ensures that every transgender and gender diverse person in Ireland is able to access support and treatment without discrimination, prejudice, or gatekeeping
