GenderGP offers an electronic telehealth platform and digital communication system that supports the Health and Wellbeing of transgender and gender non-conforming people worldwide. Using a unique Gender Care Pathway, information can be exchanged and prepared to support people’s access to gender-affirming healthcare services.

We are casting aside barriers, rewriting the narrative, and changing the vision for transgender healthcare. We are on a mission to be the most streamlined and innovative telehealth service, e-learning resource, and patient care model for the trans and non-binary health sector. We are already supporting more than 9,000 members worldwide.


What we do:

We provide access to healthcare options including gender-affirming hormones, supportive therapies, surgical referrals and health advice. Our membership offers access to our unique telehealth platform through which our members can make the best decisions about their healthcare needs and access prescriptions, advice, counselling and other services.

Knowledge and education is fundamental to ending discrimination and prejudice against trans people, and our ever developing Knowledge Base in en route to being the thought leader in this subject area.


The Future:

By further developing our Telehealth Software and Knowledge Base, we will extend to other healthcare areas that are currently poorly served by public health services across the world. By harnessing the power of technology, and putting the patient in charge of their health, we aim to solve the problem of under-resourced healthcare provision.

Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our rapidly growing organisation to new heights. The CEO will be responsible for driving strategic planning, organisational development, financial performance, and business operations. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills and have a track record of successfully scaling organisations.

Leadership & Management responsibilities:
  • Mission and Vision alignment: Work closely with the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer to understand and align with the overarching mission and vision of the organisation.
  • Strategic Leadership: Through the Directors and Divisional Leads, develop and execute a clear, ambitious, and forward-thinking business strategy to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership.
  • Corporate Structure: Working with the Finance Director to guide and develop the corporate structure through the next phase of growth and development.
  • Team Building and Management: Nurturing and supporting the current leadership team to foster a collaborative and innovative company culture, attracting top-tier talent and empowering those who work with us to excel in their roles.
  • Financial Management: Oversee departmental budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure financial targets are met and allocated resources are utilised efficiently.
  • Operational Excellence: Working with the Healthcare Team to Streamline and optimise business operations, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure delivery of exceptional products and services to the Members we serve.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities that drive revenue growth and expand market reach in the telehealth market. Turning ideas into reality.
  • Market Insights: Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts, and competitive landscape to adapt the business strategy accordingly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard and grow the company’s assets and reputation.
  • Innovation and Product Development: Drive innovation by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and overseeing the development of new products/services through our project incubator framework.
  • Public Relations and Branding: Enable representation for the company in public forums, conferences, and media, enhancing its reputation and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Legalities, Ethics and Regulatory Compliance: Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.


Key Requirements:
  • Proven track record of at least 15 years in executive leadership roles, ideally as a CEO or in a comparable capacity within a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience of guiding an organisation through international expansion.
  • Excellent financial and business acumen, including experience managing budgets, and financial planning.
  • Proven background in developing organisational capability and converting this into stakeholder value.
  • Solid understanding of organisational performance frameworks.
