Amy is a qualified counselling psychotherapist. Over the years, Amy has volunteered for school youth programmes with a focus on ethics and personal development, working for several charities and agencies. In 2008 she qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist. Since then she has gone on to build her own practice as well as managing an affordable counselling charity in her home county of Wiltshire.
Amy has a down to earth approach to counselling, she believes that you are the expert on you, and she provides a welcoming space for clients to explore whatever they want to bring to therapy, to enable the individual to work towards becoming their most authentic self. In her sessions, Amy uses a variety of approaches and tools tailored to the client’s individual therapy goals.
Whether it’s long-term counselling or single session therapy, Amy believes that counselling can give you the space and time you need to gain clarity and understanding of who you are and what you want to achieve in life, without fear of judgement.
