We are terribly sorry about the difficulties our patients in Sweden and Finland are facing in receiving their medication and prescriptions. Please be rest assured that we are doing everything we can to find solutions to make sure your access to gender-affirming medication can continue. We will keep you updated and if anyone has any questions please email us through the help centre.

Sweden

We are no longer able to send medication via our EU pharmacy or paper prescriptions to Sweden, however, we can send paper prescriptions to any other EU country (except Norway) for collection and dispensing. Our pharmacies are able to send medication to any EU country, except Finland and Norway.

  • Patients on masculinising treatment may wish to consider switching to Sustanon or Nebido for collection and administration in a neighbouring country
  • You can travel to Sweden with 14 days supply of testosterone as long as you can show the medication is for your personal use
  • You can travel to Sweden with a 3 month supply of other medications as long as you can show the medication is for your personal use
  • We are able to provide you with a copy of your prescription (free)  and a travelling with medication letter (£25) for these purposes

Finland

We are no longer able to send medication via our EU pharmacy to Finland, however we are still able to send paper prescriptions.

Continuing Services

We understand that your absolute priority will be securing the continuation of your treatment. GenderGP is working to ensure that we can restore normal service in Sweden and Finland as soon as possible via in-country partners, and will keep you updated.

While this is a painful setback for trans healthcare in Sweden and Finland, we will continue the fight to ensure equal access to provision and treatment for our community, and hope to update all of our Swedish and Finnish patients and friends soon.
