GenderGP is delighted to be supporting TransNewYork with a series of workshops to be held at the 1st annual New York Coming Out conference in New York, at the end of October.

TransNewYork is a transgender platform and community built on the importance of collaboration, unique expression and individualism. As part of its mission, it provides education, advocacy, and resources, as well as promoting awareness to the community at large.

Presented by GenderGP Founder, Dr Helen Webberley, the workshop is entitled:

GenderGP – Making Healthcare Accessible to Trans People, Wherever They Are in the World

It will look at the challenges faced by gender non-conforming people trying to access gender-affirming healthcare and the role that modern technology can play in revolutionising that care.

Dr Helen Webberley explained:

“I am delighted to be joining an inspirational line up of professionals who will share their insights and expertise on a broad range of topics and services, which will be of benefit to the trans community. I have no doubt that it will be an inspiring and informative few days.”
