As part of our commitment to supporting trans people, we are delighted to announce the official launch of our new Live Chat function, available on the GenderGP website. The service aims to provide answers to burning questions, to both existing service users and non service users alike.

The addition of our new Live Chat function means that, as well as being able to research what you need on our website, there is also a human being at the other end of the chat who is available to answer any questions you may have.

Adi Daly-Gourdialsing, Head of Patient Services at GenderGP, explained that the new Live Chat function aims to help anyone questioning their gender, whatever stage they may be at on their journey.

 

She commented:

 

Whether someone is questioning their gender and what that might mean for them, or they simply want to know a bit more about how GenderGP works and what services we offer, they can quickly ask a member of our very knowledgeable team. We are also here for those supporting loved ones and other professionals/clinicians wanting to work with us.

We know that getting answers to some of the burning questions individuals have can be difficult. We also know that many people have to endure long wait times to see a clinician via their national health service, with no communication or support. Live Chat is our way of stepping in and providing a direct answer, in an instant.

 

Our Live Chat function is available during business hours Monday to Friday and is free for anyone with a question about trans healthcare, or who wants to find out more about how GenderGP works.
