Trans rights campaigner Eva Echo and cancer screening engagement programme Answer Cancer are asking for participants for a nationwide screening survey. The survey is intended to understand the needs of trans and gender diverse people, and improve access to screening services.

Eva told GenderGP that ‘The main asks are that trans and non-binary people take part. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t at screening age or have never been for a screening. Their opinions still count. It doesn’t matter if somebody is not out yet. They still count too’

She added that ‘All responses are vital in capturing views so we can make the process better […] already there’s stuff in there which we’d not even considered but is so vital that the scope of the project will be broadened to include it’

The survey is open until the 19th of July and more information about how to take part can be found here.
